Top Performer

Just the other day my supervisor gave me a card and thank me for being the top performer at work. Yay me! It felt so good to be appreciated. When I opened it I saw that there was a giftcard in it too. I shoed it to one of my friends and he was jealous. He was asking why he wasn't given one when he also did his best. I guess he was just pulling my leg. To be honest I felt that way the last time I saw another's friends name listed the last time. Then yesterday I saw the names of the top preformers on the wall right in front of the E Hr. It is overwhelming to be one. No matter how small the job if you did your best it always feels good to be appreciated.

Adjusting Well

I went to work today and I survived. I was not as nervous as I was in the last couple of days. Thank you God for helping me survive. The nice thing about the place where I work is the diversity of the workers and yet everyone is united for a purpose. I met asian women, the pharmacist who happened to be a filipina too and two chinese girls. I managed to do things on my own without calling others. I am amazingly adjusting well. It brings an authentic smile on my face when I say, "Enjoy the rest of the day!".

Jonna Passed The Interview

I woke up early today even if I slept late last night. I drove my niece to Cracker Barrel for her second and final interview and she passed it with flying colors. The manager told her to come back on Wednesday for the orientation. I'm so happy for her. She is also planning to study CNA while she's working. I hope this is the beginning of a happy life for her. You deserve to be happy my dear. Way to go Jonna!
