A New Member of the Family
My daughter is so excited about getting a dog. The thought of getting a new member in the family subtracted her loneliness that she will be away from her friends here. This is one condition that we approved and agreed upon moving to another house. To have a dog is like getting a new member is the family. Our neighbor has a lab. My very close friend Gen has a mixed poodle. We are looking for Labradoodle Breeders here in New jersey or in Maryland where our next house is. I think this mixed breed pet is pretty amazing since they came from two good kind of dogs. They are hypoallergenic, smart and kid-friendly. Now I'm beginning to get excited about the thought of having one too because I'd rather have a dog than a stubborn human.

The Pet Issue
My 18- year old stepson wanted to adopt a stray cat that his gf found in their place. He said the cat is very nice and it won't scratch anybody. We have a pet rabbit that he adopted and it lived in his bedroom centuries ago. Now he wants a cat and he said he will bring the rabbit out to the family room again so the kids can play with it. I always wanted to have a dog but hubby said no. Would it be fair to adopt a cat and not a dog? I firmly told hubby that I don't want the cat around since he never said yes to a pet dog. Secondly we are selling the house soon since we are moving out and I am certain that it is hard to sell a house with pets. The cat will stay in his room he promised. The again we said no period. He wanted to know a good reason why we said no. His dad told him to find his own place since he is of age to go on his own. This way he can live with his pet cat. End of story.

Be Kind To Animals Week

Dogs and cats are considered to be man's best friends. As a part of our family we should give them lots of tender loving care. Our pets should be treated well since they also have feelings and they are also living things. Their company give us joy and therapeutic effect. They make us feel secure too. It is always good to take good care of them. It is a sad thing when somebody's pet gets lost. Sometimes it happens because animals have their limitations too. It is always best to take precautionary measures when one has a pet. Micro chipping is a very good way of tracing lost pets. Some of the lost and found animals are placed in shelters until their owners find them. Others are being adopted to give them a second chance to love and be loved. Home Again Web Site is actively supporting the American Humane Association's Be Kind to Animals Week. A portion of every purchase is donated to shelters from May 3-9, 2009. This is a fund raising Web site specifically created to help shelter animals. You can register and choose a participating animal shelter of your choice. You can then shop at any of the participating online stores. When you shop through the home again website you are also helping these animals survive.
